The bridge-building concept is as relevant today as it was over 400 years ago. It spans the work of builders across time, intimately connecting the developers of today with historic structures gaining new life. The timber truss bridge was also one of the first instances of mass timber prefabrication, technology that helped democratize access to high quality, long lasting structures needed to help communities grow and thrive.
There has never been a more critical time to forge connectivity: between our past and our future, from east to west, across literal, political, culture divides. Bridgewright’s work in the built environment is an evolution of a long history of determined, visionary builders. We are grateful and humbled by the opportunity, and called to do our part.
